HydroML 2026: May 19-21, 2026

hosted by The University of Texas at Austin

Austin, TX

The HydroML symposium will explore how AI/ML can be used to enhance the predictive understanding of complex systems in hydrological and Earth sciences. The overarching goal is to stimulate discussions that will help develop physically guided and interpretable AI/ML approaches to improve the mechanistic understanding of hydrological and Earth systems. It will foster collaborations among researchers who are both new to the field and already involved, thereby strengthening ties within the community of AI/ML and hydrology researchers.

This three-day symposium will bring together researchers and practitioners working at the intersection of artificial intelligence (Al), machine learning (ML), Water and Earth sciences. The symposium will focus on key advancements in ML and Al for hydrology and broader geosciences, scientific ML computing, hybrid modeling, uncertainty quantification, and Earth foundation models.
